 Foreign diplomats’ security beefed up

 PESHAWAR: Following the abduction of Afghan’s ambassador Abdul Khaliq Farahi and Iranian Commercial Attaché Hashmatullah Zade, security of foreign diplomats has been heightened in Peshawar.

SSP Cantt. Abdul Qadir told Geo News that extra contingent of security personnel had been deployed outside offices and residences of foreign diplomats in University Town and Hayatabad areas of provincial capital.

He said several suspected persons detained in this connection, were being interrogated by the police.
