Go Zardari may become 'Go Democracy', fears Khosa

Updated at: 2054 PST,  Thursday, November 24, 2011
Go Zardari may become  LAHORE: Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa Thursday feared that the slogan 'Go Zardari Go' might get translated into 'Go Democracy Go', Geo News reported.

Talking to media men at the inauguration of sports festival here at University Ground, Latif Khosa said talks of teaming up of the Zia's remnants and Shah Mehmood Qureshi are being heard these days. But it is a mistake to think that 'Lotas' (turncoats) would bring about any change.

"There has been enough mockery with the country," he regretted, accusing 'some individuals' of piggybacking the army and hatching conspiracies against democracy.

He said Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif himself allowed room to Imran Khan and now himself following the latter's footsteps.

Latif Khosa further said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the former PPP leader and foreign minister, sometimes visits Jaati Umrah and at others talks about joining hands with Imran Khan.
