 LAHORE: Family of Zulqarnain Haider has received threats of dire consequences after the statement of cricketer about revealing of secrets regarding match-fixing and spot-fixing allegations, Geo News reported on Sunday.
Brother of Zulqarnain said that the threat call was received by Zulqarnaian’s wife from a Greek number, adding that the caller was speaking Urdu clearly. He further said that the caller threatened of dire consequences if Zulqarnain leaked the secrets.
It is pertinent to mention here that Zulqarnain, in a message on his facebook account, has stated that he would reveal secrets regarding match-fixing and spot-fixing allegations within five or six days. |
