No mid-term polls in offing: Malik ABBOTTABAD: Federal Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik, denying likelihood of mid-term elections in country, said Sunday there are no chances of mid-term elections in country and the government will complete its five-year term by the grace of Almighty, Geo News reported.

Addressing the Women Convention of PPP here, the minister said Pakistan People’s Party has always fought for the freedom of women, adding that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s vision and the policy was to liberate women, providing them equal right as enjoyed by men.

He said BB’s pro-women policies made it possible the induction of women in Pakistan’s armed forces.

On the occasion, the minister announced formation of separate NADRA center for women, seven separate counters for women in passport office and formation of a separate women police academy in Abbottabad.

Also, Malik announced to spend all development funds, he receives being Senator, on the development of mountainous regions in the Abbottabad district.
