Obama taking lead in Indiana State INDIANA: According to the preliminary results of the presidential voting in the state of Indiana in US, Democratic nominee Barak Obama has taken lead over Republican hopeful Johan McCain by one percent, as the counting is still underway, U.S. television reported.

McCain got 49 percent while Barak Obama bagged 50 percent votes as Obama is taking one percent lead over McCain, it added.
