Nation suffers as result of decisions by individual
Updated at: 1650 PST,  Saturday, November 07, 2009
Nation suffers as result of decisions by individual CHALLAS: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif Saturday said the primary reason for all the problems of the country is frequent violations of the Constitution.

Addressing a public gathering here at Challas Rest House, he said the entire nation has to suffer the consequences of decisions taken by a single person.

Nawaz Sharif said the country was frequently plagued by martial laws, dictators kept coming, the constitution violated and judges were time and again arrested.

PML-N leader said he was forced to stay out of the country, adding he did not bow down to former President Gen (rtd) Pervez Musharraf for the sake of country and nation.

Earlier addressing a gathering in Ustur, Sharif said his party never danced to the tunes of anyone’s interests.

He underscored the need for free and transparent elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, adding he vowed to transform the backward areas into the developed ones if ushered into powers.
