 ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) said the power shortfall is still negligible as the demand in the country dwindled; therefore, the power load shedding is not being carried out.
According to Pepco officials, the hydal generation increased and resultantly, the power shortfall, after maintaining at 1500 Megawatts, now equaled nearly zero.
According to the spokesman, as the gap between power demand and supply amounted to zero, the load shedding has been put to an end and the industrial sector is getting uninterrupted power supply.
The Pepco officials also announced no load shedding for a few next days in the industrial sector.
If the shortfall increases, it would be shared with the domestic users; however, the new schedule for load shedding would be made public beforehand. |  |
