 ATC adjourns hearing of Mumbai attack case till Dec. 19

 RAWALPINDI: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Muhammad Akram Awan on Saturday adjourned the hearing of Mumbai attack case without recording statements of the witnesses till December 19.

Four separate bail applications of Zaki ur Rehman Lakhwi and other co-accused were submitted in the Court.

The in-camera proceeding of the case was conducted inside Adiala Jail.

The accused were produced before the court under tight security in presence of lawyers from complainant and respondent.

The bail applications were filed on behalf of seven accused including leaders of banned Jamaat ut Dawwah, Zaki ur Rehman and Abdul Waheed under section 265-K.

The counsel of the accused also filed application challenging their indictment on the statement of Ajmal Kasab.
