First post Hajj flight lands at Karachi KARACHI: The first post Hajj flight carrying pilgrims onboard arrived from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia after a delay of six and half hours here at Jinnah International Airport on Saturday.

“A fault in the scanners installed at Hajj Terminal, Jeddah airport caused the delay,” sources said.

He said the post Hajj operation to bring Pakistani pilgrims from Jeddah, after performance of Hajj will continue for a month.

Pakistan International Airline will bring 28,080 pilgrims back to the Federal Capital through 60 special Hajj flights.

In total, more than 160,000 pilgrims will be transported from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan through special and commercial flights of PIA and Saudi Airlines.

For the convenience of pilgrims, PIA provided 10-liter cans of Abe Zam Zam (free of cost) to the pilgrims on arrival in Pakistan.
