Ten NATO supply trucks, 15 containers destroyed PESHAWAR: Suspected militants lodged rocket attack on a truck depot at Bilal Terminal in Peshawar near the border with the Khyber Agency in the country's restive tribal areas, destroying NATO’s 10 supply trucks and 15 containers, bound for Afghanistan, Peshawar police said.

The latest attack took place Saturday at 03:00 a.m., police said. Multiple explosions rocked the Bilal Terminal near Ring Road in Peshawar. Sources said that militants also threw petrol bomb on the truck depot.

Police said three or four blasts sparked a fire. Fire had engulfed the terminal which resulted into the destruction of ten supply trucks and fifteen containers. It was the sixth attack on NATO supply lines through Pakistan since November.

The terminal holds hundreds of supply containers as well as Humvee transport vehicles bound for Afghanistan.
