FC begs excuse of posting FC men at Nato Terminals
Updated at: 1301 PST,  Saturday, December 13, 2008
FC begs excuse of posting FC men at Nato Terminals PESHAWAR: Frontier Constabulary (FC) has begged excused of posting its personnel at Nato Terminals.

FC Deputy Commandant, Rahmat Khan told Geo News that FC didn’t possess enough personnel that could enable it to post its men for the security of terminals. He said that FC was striving to help the police in this regard. Rahmat Khan told that FC main responsibility was to safeguard the borders of the tribal and administered areas and with the existing strength, FC personnel could not be posted for the security of the terminals. Rahmat Khan, commenting on the NWFP government’s demand for the 10 platoons from the federation, said that this demand was not appropriate. It may be recalled that Nato Terminals during the last few days had witnessed five devastating attacks, which thus far inflicted heavy loss of life and materials.
