| GEO Pakistan | | No airspace violation occurred on Pak-Afghan border | Updated at: 1514 PST, Monday, December 15, 2008 ISLAMABAD: Spokesman of Pakistan Air force on Monday clarified that there had been no violation of the country’s airspace over Pak-Afghan border as reported by various news channels.
Referring to news reports indicating that some foreign jet fighters violated airspace of Pakistan and intruded into Chaman Pak-Afghan bordering town thrice, Director Public Relations PAF Air Commodore Humayun Viqar said that there was no violation of the airspace.
He clarified that the Nato aircraft were on routine and planned authorised flights in the area, so there was no question of any intrusion or violation of the country’s airspace.
