PPP won’t tolerate firing in KESC
Updated at: 0307 PST,  Tuesday, December 15, 2009
KARACHI: The president of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi Division Najmi Alam and Secretary General Saeed Ghani has strongly asserted, neither will PPP tolerate downsizing nor the Surplus Poll in KESC at any cost.

They said, on one hand the higher management of the company, trying to conceal their ineligibility, is accusing the people of Karachi of ‘Electricity Robbers’ and on the other and hand, they have started firing employees in the name of additional burden.

KESC has, on purpose, promoted the trend of electricity stealing in Karachi, which has resulted in worst electricity load shedding here in metropolis even in winter season, thus, badly disrupting the lives of people at large.
