Meantime, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL) has stanched the supply to 426 CNG stations of the province from Wednesday morning at 6am to remain closed till December 18 at 6pm.
The closure has caused the consumers a lot of troubles and there are long queues being witnessed at the station since the early morning and people are forced to used petrol and diesel.
According to SNGPL, the gas supply to the domestic consumers would continue unsuspended.
Meanwhile, All Pakistan CNG Association Chairman Ghayas Pracha demanded the government to review the decision regarding CNG price hike and the weekly closure of CNG stations; otherwise, countrywide strike would be announced.
