ISLAMABAD: The government has released Rs20 billions to rehabilitate the people affected in war against terrorism.
Sources close to the finance ministry told Geo News that the funds of Rs20 billion have been released to help the affected people of FATA and NWFP. The amount has been announced for the current fiscal year from July to December.
Out of Rs20 billions, Rs10.20 billions have been given for the affected families, Rs2.59 billions will be spent on tribal areas controlled by the federal government. While Rs7.10 billions have been released to maintain law and order in NWFP.
Sources further said Rs330 million have also been issued for Punjab Rangers and National Crisis Management Cell. |  |
