 Anwar recommended to President for AG office

Anwar recommended to President for AG office ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani sent to President Asif Ali Zardari the recommendation for the appointment of Anwar Mansoor Khan as Attorney General, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to an announcement issued here from the PM House, the recommendation for Senior Advocate Anwar Mansoor Khan to be promoted as Attorney General has been sent to the President.

Anwar Mansoor Khan has previously worked as Sindh’s Advocate General.

The office of Attorney General is lying vacant, as former AG Latif Khosa has been appointed as PM’s adviser and deputy Attorney General Shah Khaver is functioning as the acting Attorney General.
