Market remains in grips of bears on last day of 2008 KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange continued to remain under selling pressure on the last trading day of the year 2008 with KSE-100 Index closing at 5,865 points on Wednesday.

The Index plunged further by 172 points to the present level today.

The trade volume was recorded at 70 million shares today.
