Updated at: 1239 PST, Friday, December 31, 2010 QUETTA: The mercury dropped to its lowest this season as meteorologists recorded a minimum temperature of minus 10 degrees Centigrade on Saturday morning in parts of Balochistan.
The mercury in the provincial capital Quetta fallen to as low as -9.5 degrees.
The lowest temperature has been recorded -9 centigrade in Dalbandin, -1 in Naukandi, 2 in Zhob, 2 in Barkhan, 4 in Sibbi, -10 in Kalat and 2 in Khuzdar.
Chill weather has affected the daily life badly as the people remained indoor. Low gas pressure and electricity load-shedding added to their miseries. |
