 LPG prices rise in Peshawar

LPG prices rise in Peshawar PESHAWAR: The prices of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) are on the rise in Peshawar like other parts of the country creating negative impact on business activities.

Rs.5 per kg has been increase in LPG price. LPG was being sold at Rs.95 per KG a week ago, which has mounted to Rs. 100 per kg currently. A 35 kg cylinder price raised to Rs.3,200 from Rs.3,040 whereas the price of 15 kg cylinder increased to Rs.1,400 from Rs. 1,330.

On the other hand, rickshaw and taxi drivers have increased the fare with the surge in prices. The president of LPG Association Bakht Munir has demanded provincial government to take immediate notice of price hike and provide relief to public.
