 Women’s football team leaves for BD tomorrow

 KARACHI: Pakistan team will leave Karachi tomorrow for participating in the SAF Women’s Football Championship to be held in Bangladesh.

Sana Mahmood will lead the national team in the championship which will be held from December 12 in Bangladesh.

Besides Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives and Afghanistan are taking part in the championship.

Captain Sana Mahmood said that though women’s football is a new event for Pakistan the players would do their utmost to display good performance in the tournament.
