ATHENS: Greece's opposition leader has called for early elections following widespread riots in Athens and other Greek cities.
Socialist leader George Papandreou said Tuesday that the government is no longer in position to defend the public from rioters, who left hundreds of stores smashed and burned across Greece following the police shooting of a 15-year-old boy.
