Pakistan’s oldest polo tourney begins tomorrow LAHORE: The oldest polo tournament, Punjab Cup, will begin here tomorrow.

President Lahore Polo Club Irfan Ali Haider told at a news conference here on Monday that seven teams are participating in the polo cup, being played since 1886.

The final of the tournament will be played on February 21.

Irfan Ali Haider told that president Federation of International Polo James Austin was coming from Australia on a three-day visit to Pakistan but unfortunately he was killed falling from a horse in a polo match he played during his stay in Thailand. His tour of Pakistan would have proved very beneficial for Pakistan.
