 ISLAMABAD: Another wave of rain and snowfall started in upper and northern parts of country on Friday.
Many people had to suffer due to continuous rainfall and land sliding which left several roads blocked for traffic, sources said. Recent wave of snowfall has led to shortage of medicines and other edibles in northern areas, sources added.
Showers have continued to fall in Muzaffarabad for some days, the capital of Azad Kashmir on Friday.
The northern parts, mostly hit by rain and snowfall, included, Gilgit, Iskardo, Chitral, Lowari, Abbotabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, and various other parts of Balochistan. |  |
