Pak-UN will jointly launch health projects in Pakistan ISLAMABAD: 14 agencies of United Nations Friday signed health projects to be launched in Pakistan jointly with Pakistan government, which will aim at provision of better health care facilities in remote areas.

The costs of projects were estimated at $ 384 million. Federal Secretary Health Subtin Fazal signed on United Nations’ projects.

The projects will include programs relating to family planning, reduction of infant mortality, control on HIV and Aids and other health issues.

Secretary Economic Affairs Farrukh Qayyum and several UN representatives were also present on the occasion.
