FBR to be benefited from German revenue-related expertise KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) said the Board will seek technical assistance from Germany in promulgation of tax reforms and Value Added Tax, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to the FBR spokesman, Pakistan and Germany agreed on mutual consultation and cooperation in connection with imposing the VAT and making the ongoing tax reforms in the FBR successful.

This consensus was reached in a meeting between the FBR officials and visiting four-member German delegation.

The spokesman said the FBR will take benefit from Germany’s experiences regarding revenues collection and the related administrative affairs.

The German delegation said their country will provide technical assistance to Pakistan in various sectors of economy especially taxation.
