 KARACHI: Badminton has been included in the South Asian Games to be held in Bangladesh in January next year.
This decision was taken in South Asian Countries Olympic Committee meeting held in Kathmandu (Nepal).
Aamer Hayat Khan Rokhri, Secretary General Pakistan Badminton Federation pointed out that in the last SAG held in Colombo in 2007 Pakistan bagged six Bronze Medals in badminton events.
“We are confident that if training camps are organized by Pakistan Sports Board with the provision of a Foreign Coach, we will be able to win one or two Silver Medals also”, he said. |  |
