Police, media face lawyers’ wrath once again LAHORE: The media persons and police once again became the victims of lawyers’ wrath in Lahore on Thursday.

This incident took place at Lahore Session Court at a time when the SHO of Anarkali Police Station Anwar Bajwa tried to arrest a lawyer.

The move infuriated the lawyers, who severally tortured the policemen and tore up their official papers and uniforms.

On receiving information, Geo team reached the scene to cover the incident but was attacked by the unruly lawyers, who snatched the camera and pulled the office card of Geo correspondent Asim Naseer from his neck.

In addition, they used indecent language and threatened the Geo team of dire consequences.
