 PESHAWAR: Condemning the Supreme Court’s decision to disqualify Sharif brothers, NWFP Senior Minister Bashir Ahmed Bilour said that political parties could not be eliminated through court’s verdicts.
Talking to Geo News here on Thursday, Bilour said that dictators were given legitimacy by the courts in past while this ruling would destabilize the country.
He also slammed imposition of governor rule in Punjab and added that country could not afford the politics of confrontation.
“If federal government tried to dislodge the government of Awami National Party (ANP), we would give our reaction at that time,” he said.
To a question about troops’ withdrawal from Swat, he said that army would go back to the barracks after improvement in Swat situation. |  |
