Won’t allow damaging private properties: IG Punjab LAHORE: Freshly appointed Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police Khwaja Khalid Farooq warned agitators to remain cautious of private properties of people saying, “We are geared up to tackle all kinds of violent situations and will not allow damaging private properties at any cost.”

Talking to Geo News correspondent in Lahore IG said, “Punjab police will provide protestors all possible security but no one will be permitted to take law in hand.”

He also assured people to remain calm in face of fierce protests sparked by Supreme Court verdict declaring Sharif brothers ineligible for contesting polls and said police will perform their duty vigilantly to keep the law and order situation under control.
