President, PM grieved over deaths in Chile quake ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, expressing grave sorrow over the deaths of over 250 people caused by the deadly earthquake, which hit Chile on Saturday night, have extended to the people of Chile of all-out support of people of Pakistan and its government.

In a message to the Chilean president, President Zardari expressed grief over the loss of precious lives of innocent people and material loss, rendered by the devastating earthquake.

He said the government and the people of Pakistan will stand by Chilean people at this juncture.

In his message, the Premier Gilani expressed sympathy with the people and the president of Chile and assured them of support and cooperation of Pakistan.
