 SWAT: The militants took control of police checkpost in Swat and detained 30 policemen.
Sources said militants have seized Shamozai police checkpoint in tehsil Barikot and made captive 30 police officials. They have been shifted to undisclosed location later.
On the other hand, security forces continued shelling on militants’ hideouts in upper parts of tehsil Kabal, Matta, Khawazakhel and Charbagh areas but no loss of life was reported in the action.
Meanwhile, several areas of Swat remained under curfew for eleventh consecutive day and evacuation of locals on massive scale is underway.
