 Female suicide bomber kills 24 in Sri Lanka

 COLOMBO: The Sri Lankan military says a female suicide bomber killed 24 people when she blew herself up among a group of soldiers searching civilians fleeing the northern war zone.

Military spokesman Brig. Udaya Nanayakkara said another 20 people were injured in the bombing Monday.
