Violence in tribal areas claims 14 lives PESHAWAR: Fourteen people have been killed including 4 security personnel in separate incidents of violence in tribal areas including Dera Ismail Khan.

Two persons were killed by firing of unknown armed men at Daraban Road in DI Khan.

In another incident militants opened fire on security forces convoy, killing two security men in Tehsil Lakro of Mohmand Agency while a bomb attack on security forces convoy killed 1 personnel and injured another.

Militants took two personnel of Khasadar force in Tehsil Jamrod of Khyber Agency. One security men was killed in an exchange of fire.

Militants killed 6 persons involved in various crimes in Lower Orakzai Agency.
