Taliban defeated in Bajaur Agency: FC I.G. KHAR: Frontier Corp Inspector general, Major general Tariq Khan has said that Taliban have been defeated in the Bajaur Agency.

Maj. Gen. Tariq Khan told reporters who were escorted to the remote Bajaur region by the military on Saturday that a drop in militant activity in the semi autonomous Bajaur region is not simply seasonal.

Khan said the militants have “lost'' after more than a year of fighting and that the military controls the region's roads.
