Updated at: 2107 PST,  Sunday, March 01, 2009
Militants’ attack in Kabal ‘unprovoked’: SMC MINGORA: Swat Media Center said that militants’ attack in Kabal tehsil was ‘unprovoked’ and violation of Swat peace truce between Tehrik Nifaz Shariat-e-Muhammadi (TSNM) and the government.

According to the SMC, protest has been registered before the concerned authorities that have been asked to bar extremists from such attacks in the future.

The militants should avoid the attacks under the peace agreement, it said.

The extremists had attacked a vehicle carrying sick security personnel while security forces were sticking to the peace deal.
