Karachi bazaars to be closed at 8pm from March 15
Updated at: 0607 PST,  Wednesday, March 10, 2010
Karachi bazaars to be closed at 8pm from March 15 KARACHI: Traders have resolved to close bazaars and key trade centers all-across Karachi at 8pm at night from March 15, Geo news reported.

This was decided during the meeting held in between representatives belonging to various business communities and Sindh government with CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah in chair here on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it was also decided that the trade timings will range from 9am in the morning to 8pm at night in order to save electricity ahead of summer season when electricity demand stays at its peak.

Also, this will help curtail electricity loadshedding in metropolis, the meeting observed.

The meeting was attended by the PPP’s General Secretary Taj Haider, Nasir Mehmood, Jameel Paracha, Atique Meer, Abdul Samad and other leaders from trade community.
