SINGAPORE: Oil prices rebounded in Asian trade Wednesday on expectations oil-producing nations will reduce output when they meet during the weekend, dealers said. New York's main futures contract, light sweet crude for April delivery, rose 29 cents to 46.00 dollars a barrel.
Brent North Sea crude for April gained 29 cents to 44.25. Oil prices have fallen from highs of more than 147 dollars a barrel in July 2008 after the global economic crisis weakened demand.
