KARACHI: Trading activities in the country is seen shrunk by 50 percent, following the political uncertainty triggered by the two major warring political parties plus the impending threats of the long march and sit-ins.
Karachi Retail Grocers Group general secretary, Farid Quraishi told Geo News that the political situation in the country during the last few days further aggravated due to flexing of muscles and hurling threats against each other by the warring political groups in the arena, which among other spheres of life has affected trading most that has shrunk by almost 50 percent, as the purchasers appeared to be over cautious in saving their hard-earned money for the rainy days, consequential of politicians’ gaffe.
