Nawaz urges Zardari to honour commitments LAHORE: United States Ambassador Anne W. Patterson called on Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif at Raiwind on Thursday.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan were also present at parley. Sources said Nawaz Sharif made it clear to the US envoy that he would not compromise over principles.

He said the purpose of long march is not to derail democracy in the country, he urged President Asif Ali Zardari to honour his commitments and restore all deposed judges without any further delay.
