 Death toll in 'US strike' in Pakistan rises to 24

 PESHAWAR: The number killed in a suspected US missile strike in Kurram Agency rose to 24 on Friday, most of them Taliban militants, according to local officials.

Two missiles fired by an unmanned drone destroyed a Taliban training camp. "We have handed over 24 bodies after cleaning and wrapping them in cloth," officials said.

Local administration officials also confirmed that 24 bodies were recovered from the rubble having earlier said that 18 dead had been found.
