PML-N welcomes govt’s decision on review petition
Updated at: 2119 PST,  Saturday, March 14, 2009
PML-N welcomes govt’s decision on review petition LAHORE: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Ishaq Dar has welcomed the government’s decision to file a review petition in Supreme Court on disqualification of Sharif brothers.

Talking to Geo News, he said the ineligibility verdict was a mistake and if the government is taking a corrective action then it is a positive development.

He hoped the review petition would reverse the earlier verdict on disqualification of Sharif brothers and Shahbaz Sharif’s position would be restored as chief minister of Punjab.

Ishaq Dar, however, said his party would continue to stick to its stand on judges’ restoration and would not back out in any case.
