 ISLAMABAD: The government has informed Washington about the decision vis-à-vis reinstating the deposed chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
According to sources, the deposed chief justice will assume his responsibilities on March 22. It is worth noting here that the incumbent chief justice Abdul Hamid Dogar retires on March 21. With the lifting of governor’s rule in Punjab, the majority group will be invited to form the government. |  |
