Celebrations on restoration of CJ, other judges ISLAMABAD: Lawyers, political workers, members of civil society continued to gather at the residence of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhamamd following his restoration after a period of around one and half year.

The jubilant crowd kept on dancing to celebrate the public’s victory at the resident of CJ here in Judges Enclave where people belonging to different walks of life started gathering since last night. The crowd grew even larger in the daytime.

Sweets were also distributed among the people gathered at CJ’s residence in large number.

Families of the missing people also visited the place where they raised slogans in support of the judiciary.

Led by Dr. Israr Shah, some of the workers of Pakistan People’s Party also visited the residence of CJ and remained with the celebrating crowd.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry kept meeting the visiting guests and also had photos taken with them.

He also appeared in the terrace of his residence and addressed the gathering with the help of megaphone. He thanked the crowd for their support in the struggle.
