LAHORE: Hiting a century on the opening day of Lahore test on Sudnay, Kumar Sangakkara said wicket in Lahore is more supporting compared to that of Karachi.
Talking to media at Gadaffi Stadium, Sangakkara said he was not happy on not playing a big innings in Karachi and this led him to make a serious effort on staying at the wicket for maximum time and score big.
He said Sri Lanka would try to put 450 to 500 runs on the board.
Thilan Samaraweera and Kumar Sangakkara stroked meaningful centuries to launch Sri Lankan’s fight back in the first innings by leading them 317 for 4 in 86.4 on the opening day of the second test against Pakistan. |  |
