 PPP, N-League reconciliation efforts fail
Updated at: 1112 PST,  Monday, March 02, 2009
PPP, N-League reconciliation efforts fail KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muslim League (Nawaz) reconciliation efforts have failed.

Nawaz Sharif took an inflexible stand during the negations, according to a Geo news report. Nawaz after consultations with his party leaders ostensibly spurned the offer of reconciliation.

Nawaz League camp claimed to have possessed the required number for the number game, therefore in a carefree manner declared nothing to worry.

Nawaz League sources told that the federal government made efforts for reconciliation, but now they proclaimed that nothing short of implementation on March 9 Murree Declaration would make them agree to a compromise.
