 LAHORE: The monogram of Punjab Police is missing from the department’s advertisement appeared in today’s newspapers, Geo News reported Saturday.
Punjab Police published an advertisement in yesterday’s newspapers with monogram of Punjab Police of India— as there was ‘Trimurti’ no star in the logo.
The media criticized Punjab Police media when its advertisement carrying a logo of Indian Punjab Police appeared in the national newspapers, urging people to extend their cooperation with the police department to counter terrorism.
Punjab Police Inspector General Tariq Saleem Dogar blamed the printing company for the fault, saying the department had sent an accurate advertisement with the correct logo.
It is worth mentioning, that the logo of the Punjab Police contains a star while the Indian logo consists of the picture of a ‘Trimurti’.
It should be noted that the same advertisement came in today’s newspapers but, without any monogram altogether. |  |
