Punjab Police website updated LAHORE: Punjab Police has removed Punjab Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s comments from its website praising the vision of former President Parvez Musharraf in connection with bringing police reforms, Geo News reported.

Earlier, Geo News reported about those comments.

Punjab Chief Minister in his message said: "The present government has wholeheartedly embraced President Musharraf's vision to revamp the police and make it responsive to the needs of the people of Pakistan."

The message further read, "Public Safety is one of the top-most priorities of my Government. Mahfooz (Safe) Punjab is a goal that has been built upon the greatest police reform effort in Punjab since independence."
