Plane searched at London airport LONDON: Police say they are searching a plane that has landed at London's Gatwick Airport following a report of a suspicious device on board.

The Emirates flight from Dubai landed just before 0700 GMT Sunday.

Police say the plane is in a holding area and that the passengers and crew members have been evacuated.

Police say the airport was temporarily closed as a safety precaution but has reopened.
