SP investigation Tando Muhammad Khan dismissed KARACHI: Inspector General of Sindh Police Salahuddin Babar Khatak has suspended the SP investigation Tando Muhammad Khan Ahmed Khan Jamali over allegedly practicing influence for registering a case, based on the old family feud, in Manghopir police station here on Sunday.

According to sources, SSP investigation Tando Muhammad Khan stayed several hours in Manghopir police station here in metropolis pressurizing the SHO to register a case based on personal enmity against the Speaker Balochistan Assembly over torching a truck in the jurisdiction of Manghopir police station.

The dismissed SP investigation arrived here on French leave and threatened SHO Manghopir police station of blockage of Hub road if the case was not registered, sources added.

Chief Karachi police Waseem Ahmed told Geo news, “Balochistan speaker is not accused but hinted at his involvement in case.”
