 8 persons given civil awards in Balochistan

8 persons given civil awards in Balochistan QUETTA: Eight personalities belonging to Balochistan were given civil awards on the eve of Pakistan Day.

The award-giving ceremony was held here at the Governor House on Monday.

Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi gave away the awards to prominent citizens on the occasion of March 23.

Among these citizens, Mehnaz Bibi, Abdul Qadir, Muneer Ahmed Badini, Umar Khan Achakzai and the late Dr Abdul Samad Chishti Mujahid received the Presidential awards of the Pride of Performance while Mohammad Nasim Achakzai and Dr Chunni Lalraj were given Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and Saif-ul-Maluk was awarded Tamgha-e-Shujaat.
